cinnamon and cloves boost insulin function while lowering cholesterol.  research indicating that as little as a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon extract, taken two times a day, can stimulate insulin-like activity while lowering triglycerides, cholesterol and glucose levels by 10 percent to 30 percent.
the same amount of cinnamon may also alleviate inflammatory conditions such as arthritis.
 Study revealed that a few grams of cloves per day delivers a similar therapeutic effect.
Either spice might help both pre-diabetic and diabetic patients alike, researchers contended.
"If you can improve insulin function the cholesterol goes down, triglycerides go down, glucose goes down, and all this goes towards the alleviation of type 2 diabetes," said Richard A. Anderson, a research chemist with the nutrient requirements and functions laboratory at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Beltsville, Md.

How to Make Tea With or Without Milk?

Ingredients:

Water                    2 Cups
Cinnamon stick     ½ stick
Clove                           1 
Sugar / Honey         As Required to Taste
Green Cardamom         1
Tea                                ¼ teaspoon  (light tea without milk)


Direction:
Take a saucepan pour 2 cups water along with cloves,cinnamon & green cardamom.Cover with a lid tightly so as to retain the flavours.  Boil for 5 Minutes,add tea leaves bring it to boil turn  the heat off.pour in the cup add honey or sugar then sip


Ingredients:

Sugar                 As Required to Taste
Green Cardamom         1
Tea                               2 teaspoon (can use Teabag) 
Milk                            3 Tablespoon 


Direction With Milk:
Take a saucepan pour 2 cups water along with cloves,cinnamon & green cardamom.Cover with a lid tightly so as to retain the flavours. Boil for 5 Minutes.add tea leaves bring it to boil turn the heat off.pour in the cup.Add Sugar & Milk as Normal Tea.

Note:
If you are using tea bag then after boiling tea water you just pour into the cup then put sugar milk then Tea bag.But i recommend to use tea leaves for making both type of Tea.It does enhance flavour of tea rather than tea bag.
