    2. Separate the top portion of your hair and gently backcomb the crown to create additional volume and height
    3. Once backcombed, gather all your hair, pull it back into a ponytail and secure with a bungee hair tie (to avoid pulling on the volume created at the crown)
    4. Take random sections of hair and wrap around a curling iron holding for 3-5 seconds to curl. Once finished, brush through the curls so they look tousled for the perfect ponytail

    6.    Continue to roll until you run out of ponytail.
    7.    Fasten under the roll with bobby pins until it feels secure.
    Wrapped headband updo:
it has been so long since I’ve featured a Tuck and Cover inspired hairstyle. That tutorial will forever be one of my favorites and this Wrapped Headband Updo is sure to be a new favorite too. This tutorial is…quick and easy and only requires a stretchy headband and a few bobby pins. If you find your headband sliding around throughout the day then I recommend securing it with a few bobby pins. That always helps me along with a great texture spray so my hair has a bit of grip. Fresh hair can be slippery so try this the next time you wear this style out and about.
    You will need
    1. Texture spray
    2. Stretchy headband
    3. 1 Clear elastic bands
    4. 8-10 Bobby pins
    5. 1 1/4″ curling iron
    6. Firm-hold hairspray
    How to Style:
    1. Spray the hair with a texture spray to add a bit of grip to freshly washed hair. Then place a stretchy headband over the head about 2″ back from the hairline, sliding it down towards the nape of the neck. Secure the band with bobby pins if necessary to secure it in place.
    2. Divide the hair into three sections; from the part down to the left and right ears creating two side sections and a back section. Tie the back section into a loose, low ponytail, pulling the elastic down as close to the ends of the hair as possible.
    3. Roll the back section upwards towards the headband.
    4. Tuck the hair into the headband, rolling it as tightly as possible before pinning down the section, sliding the bobby pins in vertically against the head.
    5. Take the section on the right side and twist it all together, upwards.
    6. Gently pull on the top of the twist to loosen it slightly.
    7. Lay the twist over the top of the bun and secure it with bobby pins.
    8. Twist the section on the left, loosening it as well.
    9. Lay the twist over the first twist, pinning it against the head.
    10. Curl any strands framing the face. Then spray the style with a firm-hold hairspray to set it.
    Two Braided Updo:
One of the most basic of hair updos, the two braided updo is one style that is a safe bet any day. It is a no-fuss look that can be sported for almost any occasion. This style also goes hand-in-hand with every wardrobe staple!
    You will need:
    1. Hair elastics
    2. U-pins
    3. Rat tail comb
    4. Fine comb
    5. Light-hold hairspray
    6. Bobby pins
    How to Style:
    1. Use a rat tail comb to create a central partition and divide the hair into two halves.
    2. Gather each section and tie them each into a high pigtail.
    3. Divide each pigtail into two sections, as you would do for a rope braid.
    4. Start working your hair into two rope braids till you reach the edges.
    5. Secure the ends of the braids with the hair elastics.
    6.  Now overlap the braids on one another in order to create the updo.
    7. Tuck in the ends of the braids using U-pins.
    8. Use bobby pins to tame flyaway.
    9. Finish styling using a light-hold hairspray to make the hairdo stay put.
    10.   And your two braided updo is ready!
    Messy Bun updo:
Messy bun meets intricate updo with this gorgeous hairstyle. It’s extremely simple to pull off. The style is virtually the same as the rolled bun shown above. However, this style includes a fancy finish with loose, curled pieces in the front.
    You will need:
    1. Peddle Brush
    2. Hair elastic
    3. Teasing comb
    4. Light-hold spray
    5. Headband
    How to Style:
    1. For the quick and simple messy bun up-do, you will need about 5 minutes, your fingers, and a rubber-band.
    2. If you have more time, gather a soft brush, wide-tooth comb and an elastic ponytail holder. Preferably an elastic holder without a metal clasp to reduce the chance of hair damage.
    3. Hair works best for a messy bun if it is two days after initial washing.
    Side wrap braid:
Do you know how to put a simple braid in your hair That’s basically all you need to know to create this gorgeous style. Just curl one side of your hair and braid the other. Then, pin the braided side up under your curls for a beautiful asymmetrical look.
    You will need:
    1. Curling iron
    2. Hair Spray
    3. Bobby pin
    4. Hair brush
    How to Style:
    1. Curl your hair with a 3/4-inch or 1-inch curling iron by wrapping your hair in sections around the barrel
    2. Spray all over for fullness and directly onto roots. Tease hair with a teasing comb and lightly lift your roots with the tail-end of the comb.
    3. Gently brush out curls for soft waves and spritz a lightweight hold hairspray
    4. Start an inverted or “inside out” braid from the side of your hair part and braid downward until you reach the nape of your neck. Tie hair at the base of your neck with a clear elastic band — then tuck loose hair underneath and secure it with a bobby pin. This
    5. Creates a braid on one side of your head, while still maintaining volume on the other!
    6. Spread the pleats of your braid to create a thicker look, then spray your new style with hairspray once again
    7. Tease the remaining hair in sections and brush it out to get more bounce and volume!
    Twisted updo:
Our weekends are times to rest and relax—and the last thing we want to do is spend ages fussing with our hair. Unfortunately, sometimes you have social obligations that require some fancy styling. Whether it’s a weekend wedding, fancy lunch or romantic date, you need a go-to hairstyle that is chic and easy.
Enter this twisted headband updo, which is making our late-summer life infinitely better. Not only is it as elegant as all get-out, it takes three minutes to do, keeps our hair off our neck and out of our faces, and works on every hair type. If you have locks that touch your collarbone, consider this your new favorite fancy ‘do. Here’s exactly how to do this style, step by step
    What will need:
    1. Fine Comb
    2. Clips
    3. Light-hold hairspray
    4. Paddle brush
    5. Hair curlers
    How to Style:
    1. Start by dividing your hair into two sections following your part down the back of your head as if you’re making ponytails. You can tie/clip one side up to keep it out of the way and leave the other side down to begin.
    2. Take two small sections of hair towards the top of your head. Twist these sections in the same direction. I like to twist my sections towards my face.
    3. Take the two twists and cross them over each other in the opposite direction from your twist. Since I twisted them towards my face, I cross them over towards the back of my head.
    4.  Add a small amount of hair to your back twist, twist it towards your face again and cross it over.
    5. Repeat step four using your other twist: add a small amount of hair, twist it a few times towards your face and cross it over.
    6. Keep repeating the process. It’s very simple, but you must keep your twists going in the same direction and crossing them in the opposite direction, this keeps the twists from unraveling and blending together. Tie the rope braid off with small elastic when you reach the ends of your hair.
    7. Repeat the process on the other side of your head. Again I find it less confusing to keep the same exact process: twist towards my face, cross away from my face, add a bit of hair to each twist until all of my hair is twisted to the ends.
    8. Take your two rope braids and cross them over on the back of your head, pinning them in place and tucking the ends underneath.
    9. Now is done...
Bun with side Braids for medium Hair:
A dainty and elegant updo for your locks! This delicate style is perfect for accentuating your feminine features. You can sport this hairdo for occasions like parties, wedding receptions., etc. This will beautifully enhance your personal style and is sure to make heads turn! Go on, give it a try!
    What you need:
    1. Fine comb
    2. Small hair elastics
    3. U-pins
    4. Light-hold hairspray
    How to Style:
    1. Make a central partition.
    2. On both the sides, take out two sections from the top of the crown.
    3. Secure the rest of your tresses into a ponytail by wrapping a strand from the nape of your neck around it.
    4. Now, starting coiling the ponytail around itself to create a bun.
    5. Once you’ve worked the length of the ponytail into a bun, secure it with U-pins.
    6. Start working these sections into side braids by incorporating the face-framing strands in the braid along with the two sections kept aside before.
    7. Once you reach the end of the sections, secure the braids with small hair elastics.
    8. Now wrap the braids over the low bun in an overlapping fashion.
    9. Finish styling by spritzing on a little light-hold hairspray.

    Half-up boho braids:

Are you craving a trendy bohemian style If so, this gorgeous, casual hairstyle is perfect for you. All you   need to do is braid sections of hair around the circumference of your head and pin them to create a care-free half-up style.
    What will need:
    1. Small hair elastic
    2. Fine comb
    3. U-pins
    4. Bobby pins
    5. Hair cruller
    How to style:
Part your hair in a side part. On the heavy side take a piece of hair from near the hairline and braid a small fishtail braid.
Pull on the edges of the fishtail braid to create volume and to get some extra texture in it. Secure it temporarily with a small elastic.
Take a new piece of hair just next to the fishtail braid, divide it in three parts and braid a regular three strand braid.
Pull again on the edges of the braid to create volume. Secure with elastic.
Take a piece of hair from the opposite side of the face and gather it together with the two braids in the back. Secure it together with an elastic but don't pull the hair all the way through the last time, instead let it create a loop.
Release the two elastics of the braids then take a piece of hair to cover the elastic with and secure it in place with a bobby pin.
Now you have a simple, fun hairstyle too wear to brunch, happy hour, or anything in between.

    Simple French Knot:

The French knot is a chic and sophisticated hairdo to sport. This is yet another delicate and dainty looking updo for the urbane woman in you. It’s easy to create and extremely beautiful. This is also a hassle-free updo and doesn’t require much effort to maintain.
